An old game that everyone has heard or played. I admit that recently with baldur gate 3 I learned what the baldur gate is itself, and as such I wanted to play the various games available. I never played the original game, but in this edition includes some extras like the vocation during the game but also the addition of new companions where each one has their missions to do.
Since the creation of the character, the player can customize to his style of play. A wide open world to explore where each map has its problems and some decisions to make, as well as during the main story of the game.
I liked the fact that the character’s reputation affects the interaction with the npc and the choice of companions for the party, but also the supposed “romance” that exists in the game between the protagonist and the companions, but I must say that there is nothing of scenes like dragon age or mass effect, it’s very simple but you can see the context.
The story of the game itself I found interesting, where in this edition it also includes the expansion “Tales of the Sword Coast”, which in my opinion I found it a little boring to do, the DLC “Siege of Dragonspear” that I loved playing, which does the passage from the first volume to the second one.
Perhaps the three negative points I found in the game was, that sometimes the characters get stuck and don’t move, sometimes it’s not obvious where to use the items on the various work desks and lastly for those who don’t like to read (which is not my case), you’ll have to read a little though the game.
I really enjoyed the experience and I’m ready for the second volume.
